TCC will not assume any responsibility or liability for repayment of any tool vendor account. All reimbursements under the program will end upon termination of employment or notice of intent to terminate employment. Employees will remain eligible for the program as long as they remain active full-time regular employees of TCC. Payments will continue for 24 months and the total amount of the tool payments shall not exceed $7,200. All payments will be paid directly to the tool vendor. TCC will begin payments upon completion of 90 days of continued full-time employment. TCC will establish a tool account with the vendor chosen by the employee. TCC will pay $300* per month for use toward tool purchases. Eligibility for program requires the employee to begin employment within one year of discharge from active duty enlistment. The Military Appreciation Program is a TCC program designed to assist diesel and body technicians who have recently separated from active duty in the military in acquiring sufficient tools to begin employment with TCC. *Tuition and tool reimbursement program payments are taxable income. TCC will not assume responsibility or liability for repayment of the financed tuition loan or tool vendor account. All reimbursements must be completed within 36 months of graduation from an accredited diesel or collision repair technology program. All reimbursements under the Tuition Reimbursement Program will end upon termination of employment or notice of intent to terminate employment. Employees will remain eligible for the program as long as they remain active full-time employees of TCC. Payments will continue for 24 months and the total amount of financed tuition payments or tool payments shall not exceed $7,200. If the employee chooses to use the money for tool purchases, TCC will establish a tool account with the vendor chosen by the employee, accruing at $300* per month for work tool needs. All student loan payments will be paid directly to the financial institution. TCC will pay $300* per month for use toward tool purchases or repayment of student loans. Reimbursement payments will begin upon completion of the employee's initial 90 days of continuous full-time employment. Eligibility for reimbursement requires the employee to begin employment within one year of graduation from an accredited diesel. The Tuition Reimbursement Program is an educational assistance program designed to support full-time diesel and body technicians Eligibility for continuing in the program is dependent upon successfully meeting the defined academic expectations as well as, compliance with program rules and regulations of the particular diesel or collision repair technology program. Students selected for the scholarship must commit to work for one of our Freightliner dealerships for 2 years after graduation.
